Sibawayh Center's curriculum is centered on FusHa, Modern Standard Arabic. As the student progresses to the intermediate levels, s/he is increasingly exposed to Classical Arabic through a range of texts from different time periods, its importance in understanding MSA, and the role of the Quran in preserving the Arabic language.

Students can study any of the following books:

  • Kitab Al-Assasi
  • Al-Arabiyyay Bayna Yadaik
  • Ibn Saud Program
  • Arabiya Al-Hayah

Additionally, students may want to focus on Grammar (An-Nahwu) and may study from:

  • Al-Ajrumiyyah
  • Qatr Al-Nada
  • Alfiyya ibn Malik

In order to understand the beauty of the Arabic language as written in the Quraan, students often opt to study Eloquence (Al-Balagha). Students often study from:

  • Al Balagha Wadiha
